‘Cosmetic Surgery’ filters Banned………In Instagram…| Hi Tech Blog |

Yes..that’s  true! From now on, these cheap A.I filters are useless in Instagram! And, of course  there is a good reason behind it to ban these filters. Instagram thinks that these A.I filters  which promote cosmetic surgery, are harmful for mental health!

Why do many people use filters?

Simple…..To look cool and beautiful! But Research suggests that these face changing filters makes people feel bad about the way they look. They hate their real face and can’t post their pictures in social media without using these filters.

Which Filters disabled..?

Now, Filters are of many types..The question is..which filters are disabled in Instagram? Effects which make people look like they have a Lip Injection, fillers or a facelift will be included in the list. That’s totally verified. Instagram did this ban to promote wellbeing. A spokesman said, “We’re re-evaluating our policies- we want our filters to be a positive experience for people. We’ll remove all effects from the [effects] gallery associated with plastic surgery, stop further approval of new effects like this and remove current effects which are reported to us.”

About other filters updated on Instagram…

There was the August update of Instagram app, which allowed users to design their own virtual effects, such as animations and custom face filters, which too can be superimposed on images and videos. Popular filters like ‘Plastica’- mimicked the effects of extreme cosmetic surgery. More filters such as ‘FixMe’ had the functioning of putting marks on people’s face which are done by cosmetic surgeon before surgery, and another filter named ‘HolyBucks’ put dollar signs over a selfie and enhance user’s lips.

When Instagram will be completely free from these filters…?

Well, Instagram is not sure about how much time will it take to remove all these filters, but the good thing is many users welcomed and accepted this ban happily! In Twitter, one user tweeted, “ Most people just pass filters off as ‘girls having fun’ and to just let girls enjoy things- but when you haven’t posted a photo without one of these filters since 2016, then it clearly is something deeper than just fun.” Some users said they would miss those effects.

Why you should reduce the usage of social media?

If you don’t use social media much, or you have limited the usage, then that is a very good thing, but if social media is meddling with your daily activities and those are skipped to use social media, then

maybe you should get concerned about this and reduce it’s usage! This is because, Research suggests that excessive use of social media can cause feelings of depression. There are many deep meaning videos and images available on social media which illustrates that almost everyone is now a slave of social media and they are locked in the prison with the f icon of Facebook as handcuffs. Most people are locked in the prison of smartphones.  People see that, give sad reactions and continue using social media. That’s the bitter truth. I bet you to quit social media for 30 days and instead of that, work on your passion, on your talent, spend time with family members and friends.

I guarantee that after these 30 days, your life will totally change, and of course in a positive way.To get something good, you have to sacrifice something bad. No Pain, No Gain!

Additionally, Instagram also said that it would remove all graphic images of self harm from their platform, as they could affect young and vulnerable peoples. 14 year old Molly Russell, killed herself in 2017 after viewing graphic images of self harm on the site!
