First of all, what is ‘Automation’?

Automation is a term which is coming from the English word ‘Automatic’ which in here means that the use or introduction of automatic equipment in a manufacturing or other process or facility. It’s basically the creation of technology and its application in order to control and monitor the production and delivery of various goods and services. It’s job is to perform the tasks which were earlier performed by humans.

Statistics according to ONS…..

ONS says that actually women are at high risks of getting their job replaced by robots. Because 70% of the roles at high risks of automation are currently held by women. And, sadly part timers and young workers are in line next of getting their job replaced!!

What kind of jobs are going to be replaced??
       3 occupations have highest probability:-
i)     Waiters  and waitresses.
ii)    Shelf fillers
iii)    Elementary sales occupation..
All,which are low skilled or routine..

And the jobs at low risks of getting replaced are medical practitioners, higher education teaching professionals and senior professionals in education. ONS said, “It is not so much that robots are taking over, but that routine and repetitive tasks can be carried out more quickly and efficiently by an algorithm written by human, or a machine designed for one specific function.” For your awareness, Automation has already replaced some jobs  like the self checkouts at supermarkets which are common nowadays, which reduces the need to have as many employees working at checkouts.
