Mind blowing facts about Mixed Reality | Hi Tech Blog

 What is mixed reality?

Mixed Reality is the merging of real and virtual worlds to produce new environment and visualisation where physical and digital objects co-exist and interact in real time.
Mixed reality is also referred to as hybrid reality. Mixed reality just blends the physical and virtual world. Or we can say it breaks down the barriers between physical and virtual world.
So now you may think how this merging happens?
We just put the virtual objects in the physical space.
 Mixed Reality

It can be said as the next evolution of human computer and environmental interactions.

The term " Mixed Reality " was originally introduced in 1994 by Paul Milgram and Fumio Kishino. The application of mixed reality goes beyond display which also includes environment into input ,spatial sound and location.
 Mixed Reality

Advancements in sensor technology and processing are giving rise to new area of computer input from environment.

The interaction between computer and environment is effectively environmental understanding and perception.

Most mobile phones on  market today have less or no environmental understanding capabilities. Thus, the experience they offer cannot mix physical and digital experiences.
 Mixed Reality

Most augmented and virtual reality offerings available today represent very small part of the spectrum. But the  windows that we use in our computer, the Windows reality experience gives two  main types of devices that are Holographic Devices and Immersive Devices
Holographic devices have the ability to place digital content in the real world as if it was really in there. And Immersive Devices create a sense of presence with hiding physical world and replacing virtual world with it.
